  • Descripción: Pieza más tímbrica, utiliza técnicas que buscan asemejar el sonido de la flauta con el del agua, jugar con las columnas de aire. Part of my research on this piece is related to the use of “tinny sounds”. In this piece I incorporate water drops to an acoustic instrument. The idea is to use some of the qualities of water drops and blur them with the sound of the flute. The flute separates the motion of the hands over the keys of the instrument and the inflection of air into the tube. The sonority fluctuates between percussive sounds (almost like water drops) and “airish” sound.
