REPRESENTATIVES
Our mission is to promote encounters between flutists and thus share knowledge, experiences and generate a collaborative network. Our first major action is the creation of a database of Latin American works for flute. We believe that, this way, we will contribute to the strengthening of the Latin American academic repertoire for flute, through its knowledge, appreciation, and dissemination. This database aims to be a useful tool for performers, composers, teachers and researchers from Latin America and the world.
This website will not sell sheet music; it will only acknowledge its existence. It currently contains 2,200 works from 9 countries: Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba and Peru. We invite composers, performers, and collaborators to submit works to be included.
This is a collective work that comes to life with the contribution of all of us who feel the usefulness of generating a common good. In the year 2021 we received a grant by IBERMUSICAS with which we were able to create this web page. We invite you to contribute financially through the DONATE button, to maintain the site over time and make it grow.
